So much has happened since my last post
Wow! What a month November was!
I must say November flew right by me, I have never seen time fly as fast as it did last month.
Saying is true, time flies when you are having fun.
We had Visitors!!! IT was amazing, my Mom and Harvey stayed the longest, leaving just yesterday.
A recap we had our son surprize visit, then we had Nicky come for a quick get away and check out our resort for a longer stay in March with the boys, which we are all looking forward to.
We went to Port Royale here in Kingston which was truly a fascinating place, there is opportunity there for it to be a real tourist attraction, to walk the grounds where once famous pirates and privateers once reigned, the history that is there, the story is fascinating and the fact that is has been ravaged by hurricanes, earthquakes and fires so many times makes you wonder if there is a greater power that wants that part of history forgotten?
Bob Marley, what can I say about Bob, I have fallen in love with his music, his vibe, his story. He did so much in such a short time here on earth. I am proud to be a Bob Marley fan, I do not share all of his beliefs, but I do share One Love, One Heart, One People, that is for sure.
Now it is quiet here, just me and my pup who is always "Jamaican me crazy" he keeps me busy and on my toes. Not quite sure how it will be in just a few days when I decorate for Christmas, it should be interesting.
While my Mom was here we decorated the outside of the house for Christmas with garland, bows and butterflies - after all it is Jamaica. We will celebrate here island style, at first I wasn't feeling the spirit as for 40+ years Christmas doesn't come until it snows, but I put on my music and the spirit fills my soul... so now I prepare for a new style of Christmas, create some new traditions as well as bring back some old ones... more on that in my next blog.
