   the place where one lives permanently, especially as a member of a family or household.

We are in our home, we are adjusting to a new life here, but now we are "home" and it amazing how much easier it is to settle down once you are in a house.  What can I tell you about our home, first it is excellent for visitors and we expect many, we are close to many things here in New Kingston, grocery store and mall are a 2-3 minute drive, we have a remarkable view of New Kingston and the Hills.  It is close to work and school, which is very important here as traffic can be crazy, a 5 minute drive can easily turn into 45 minutes to and hour if your timing is off.

It has been a very busy week for us, we have our Son coming "home" for Thanksgiving, and we also have also added new addition to the family, "Bear" an adorable Pomeranian Mix puppy who was delivered to our home on Thursday evening, there will be a blogs about all this to follow shortly :o)

An Update on our things...

Now we are just waiting for our things, this has been a challenge for sure.  Luckily the home came with enough furniture that we are able to be comfortable while we wait for the process to be complete.  I went shopping for a few items that we needed to be able to move in, things that you can never have to much of like towels, pots, pans and groceries.

Our items should be here by the end of the week, we have many amazing people who are behind the scenes doing what they can to assist in any way.  The major hold up was it was a rainy start to October and they can not pull our stuff out of the container for inspection during the rain, so alas my patience has been tested.

Patience is a virtue, and luckily I was blessed with plenty.  To much patience according to some of our local friends who tell me the average person would be livid with what I have gone through, I respond I do not stress about things I can not control and this is beyond my control.

With so many things to do I have been able to get much done to prepare for the arrival of our "Stuff" and soon enough we will be surrounded by boxes and chaos and I will be left wondering for months... now where did I put that?
