Living, Loving, Laughing, Life in Jamaica
One Love, One Heart, move to Jamaica and feel alright
So here it goes, I have finally arrived on the beautiful island of Jamaica, my new home. So many questions, so many things to learn, a little overwhelming and where do you start. This first blog will be all over the place as that is where my mind is, all over!
I am here. Seems each day I wake up and pinch myself, is this really happening? Am I really going to live here? What does that mean? What does it mean to live in Jamaica as a Canadian? What does it mean to me? So far it means hot weather everyday, it means beautiful scenery, it means being where my husband works and daughter goes to school everyday. I spend my days so far keeping in touch with everyone, running a business long distance, and waiting for our ship to come in, literally.
I am waiting for our furniture and household goods to arrive here, we won't be moving into our home until October 1st so more on that in the future.
I will find out what happens once our stuff arrives, I am apparently required to go to a customs interrogation which sounds scary, but most likely isn't.

I envy you. I am a fellow Jamaican, although more British by now.
